I lived a full day in the snow. Hiking on snowshoes, snowmobile rides, and dog sledding.
The ancient Yamanas said that Olum was a good spirit of the earth. This excursion is so called because it is the closest thing to a fairy tale: magic and snow in the Patagonian forest.
You will use the oldest snow transports. First, we will hike on snowshoes, reviving an ancient Andean custom. Then, you will live the experience of riding a sled pulled by huskies. If you dare, you will even be able to drive it.
This proposal is classified as very easy. It only requires appropriate clothing for low temperatures. This tour is suitable for all ages and ideal if you come with your family, with grandparents or small children. If they are not in the snow, they can stay warm in the shelter.

The next stop is the Gato Curuchet refuge. There we start the Alaskan and Siberian dog sled ride, crossing an old loggers' road and a lenga forest.
Sledding is truly extraordinary: totally out of the ordinary, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. In fact, if you feel like it, in a short and easy stretch, you have the possibility to drive it: you can tell your friends that you were a musher (sled driver) for a day!
It's time to get modern.
You can choose to ride a caterpillar ATV or a snowmobile. Both are two-seater, so you can ride an adult with a child on the back, or two adults as well. It is pure fun.
The vehicles can travel in the snow with total security and without any difficulty. You do not need experience and if you are over 18 years old you can drive it. The best way to end the day in the snowy valley.
Snow makes you hungry, and we have an excellent place to eat. We will eat a tremendous Patagonian stew at the refuge, included in the price of the excursion.
Between warm drinks, we close the night returning again with our vehicles to the door of your hotel.
