Descriptive:
Departure from the hotel to Tierra Mayor Valley. The guide tells us the order of the activities and we begin the journey, crossing the valley in the middle of the winter night, a path of torches marks the entrance to the forest until we reach the hut, where the cook awaits us with skewers and stew cooked on the fire, mulled wine, wine and the specialty of the night, "the Hachero's coffee". Dinner is enhanced with a "guitarreada". The return is according to the chosen option.
We love punctuality. In the morning we pick up all passengers at their hotels from the time indicated on your voucher. Please remember to be waiting directly at the reception of your accommodation...
Here you will learn how to handle snowshoes and sleds and you will meet our beloved dogs. All this while we treat you to a hot drink.
Let yourself go back to your childhood playing in the snow, walking with snowshoes through the snowy forests.
The next stop is the Gato Curuchet refuge. There we start the Alaskan and Siberian dog sled ride, crossing an old loggers' road and a lenga forest.
Sledding is truly extraordinary: totally out of the ordinary, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. In fact, if you feel like it, in a short and easy stretch, you have the possibility to drive it: you can tell your friends that you were a musher (sled driver) for a day!
It's time to get modern.
You can choose to ride a caterpillar ATV or a snowmobile. Both are two-seater, so you can ride an adult with a child on the back, or two adults as well. It is pure fun.
The vehicles can travel in the snow with total security and without any difficulty. You do not need experience and if you are over 18 years old you can drive it. The best way to end the day in the snowy valley.
Snow makes you hungry, and we have an excellent place to eat. We will eat a tremendous Patagonian stew at the refuge, included in the price of the excursion.
Between warm drinks, we close the night returning again with our vehicles to the door of your hotel.
