Vinciguerra Glacier Trekking
Dare to explore the ice caves and the Llaguna de los Témpanos in the Vinciguerra Glacier.
If you ever wanted to feel inside the Ice Age movie, you're going to love the Vinciguerra glacier trek.
We will walk up to the glacier and also to the Los Témpanos Lagoon. The glacier itself is not "walkable" because of the enormous amount of crevasses it has. But what we will do is enter the incredible ice caves. You will encounter a wondrous celestial world of crevices and sinkholes.
Those photos on Instagram don't just get snapped by anyone! La caminata es de 13 kilómetros, el desnivel de 650 metros y la dificultad es alta.
It is necessary to have a certain level of training and physical fitness to be able to complete the tour, as it is a high difficulty activity.

Total tour on foot: 13 kilometers
Height: From 150 to 800 meters above sea level.
Unevenness: 650 meters approximately
Difficulty: High
We will pick you up at the door of your hotel and head towards the north of Ushuaia, more precisely towards the Valle de Andorra, where the path to reach the Vinciguerra Glacier begins.
We begin our hike in the Andorra Valley, where after crossing ancient peat bogs we enter the Fuegian forest.
Along the trail you can enjoy a variety of landscapes that include a peat bog, lush forests, and ends in the famous Valle de Altura del Río de la Leche which is located in the immediate vicinity of the Glacier. This place is ideal to enjoy the most wonderful views of the area.
The road continues along the side of the river and you reach the Laguna de los Témpanos of milky waters, characteristic of the melting of the Fuegian Glacier. Here it is possible to take a break to continue bordering the lagoon until the Glacier appears imposing.
After exploring the surroundings and touching the ice, we will enjoy a box lunch and start our return hike.
Once the ice walk is over, the return to the hotel is resumed.
