🌸 🚙 Lagos 4×4 FULL Sunset Primavera – La aventura 4×4 más completa del Fin del Mundo por la tarde

Live the Lakes 4x4 FULL Sunset experience in spring, a full-day excursion that combines nature, adventure, and the best gastronomy of Ushuaia on a special schedule, designed to make the most of the season's afternoons and end the day by Fagnano Lake.

On this trip, you'll explore the Carbajal Valley, meet the famous Siberian huskiesdogs, stop at the Paso Garibaldi viewpoint, gaze at Escondido Lake , and reach the vastness of Fagnano Lake with an the off-road section in the Bombilla Natural Reserve.

Additionally, it includes lunch at the historic winter center Villa Las Cotorras and actividades exclusivas: paseo en ATV tour and hike to an active beaver lodge. All accompanied by our expert guide and driver, who will share local stories and anecdotes to make every moment even more special.

We pick you up directly from your accommodation in Ushuaia in our 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado trucks, prepared for both the Scenic National Route N°3 and the alternative trails of the off-road trailadventure. The start of the journey is an invitation to discover the Ushuaia spring: peat bogs framed by snowmelt streams, forests regaining their green color, and mountains completing the landscape.

The first stop is the Valle Carbajal viewpoint, a glacial scene where the contrast between the peat bogs and the mountains creates a unique postcard view, enhanced by the midday light and the renewed tones of the season.

Further on, we arrive at Siberianos del Fuego, where the Siberian huskies await with their characteristic energy. You'll be able to get close, pet them, and learn how they are part of the mushing in Ushuaia, a heartwarming encounter that always leaves lasting memories.

Lunch is enjoyed at Villa Las Cotorras, a historic winter center where the warm and family-friendly atmosphere combines with the best local gastronomy. The classic all-you-can-eat Patagonian lamb is the star dish, though you can also choose from chicken, milanesas, or homemade pasta.

With renewed energy, it's time for the exclusive activities. First, an ATV tour, pure adrenaline amidst a natural environment that comes alive in spring. Afterwards, a hike to an active beaver dam, where you'll discover how these animals have shaped the landscape with their dams, surrounded by a forest in full bloom.

The afternoon brings us to the Paso Garibaldi viewpoint, the only cross-Andean pass on the island, offering dos postales icónicas: the Escondido Lake, surrounded by green forests, and Fagnano Lake, stretching to the horizon like an inland sea.

After a brief stop at the traditional Casona de Mary, one of the most awaited moments arrives: the off-road section in the Bombilla Nature Reserve. The 4x4 trucks navigate through mud, roots, and hidden trails that only these vehicles can handle, offering a dose of adrenaline and adventure through untouched forests and landscapes.

The grand finale takes place on the shores of Fagnano Lake, one of the largest in our Argentina. There, you'll have free time to walk along the coast, take photos, and enjoy a a "picada" (a classic Argentine snack platter) with drinks, as the day winds down and evening begins at the End of the World.

Finally, we return you to your accommodation in Ushuaia, with the satisfaction of having lived a full day of 4x4 adventure, history, nature, and Patagonian flavors, all framed by the unique energy of the Patagonian spring.

your afternoon, step by step:

1. We kick off at midday from your doorstep

We pick you up directly from your accommodation in Ushuaia aboard our 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado vehicles, which are comfortable and equipped for the roads of the Scenic National Route N°3 and the off-road trail. From the very beginning, the journey gives you a taste of what's to come: peat bogs, lenga and ñire forests, and the mountains that define the landscape of Tierra del Fuego.

2. First picture-perfect stop: Carbajal Valley

The first stop is the Carbajal Valley viewpoint, a landscape of glacial origin that is impressive for its vastness and the peat bogs that cover much of the terrain. From this spot, you can see the Sierra Alvear with peaks like Mount Alvear and Mount Krund, as well as the slopes of Cerro Bonete and, in the distance, part of the Sierra Sorondo, creating one of the most iconic postcard views of Ushuaia and National Route N°3.

3. Up close with the Siberian Huskies:

The next experience is at Siberianos del Fuego, a kennel where the Siberian huskies are the stars. You'll be able to get close, pet them, and discover how they are part of the mushing in Ushuaia, a practice that is kept alive and forms part of the local identity.

4. Lunch at Villa Las Cotorras

Around noon, we arrive at Villa Las Cotorras, one of Ushuaia's historic winter centers, known for its cozy atmosphere and culinary tradition. As you step inside, the warmth of the firewood and the aroma from the grill give you a taste of what's to come. The star of the menu is the all-you-can-eat Patagonian lamb, a classic on local cuisine served juicy and tender, straight from the stake. For those who prefer another option, there are also homemade dishes like chicken, milanesas or pasta, always served with ensaladas frescas,  una bebida incluida (gaseosa o copa de vino), postre y el famoso café del Mono (un café hecho a las brasas).

5. ATV Adrenaline Rush

With renewed energy, it's time to hop on the quad bikes and add the first dose of adrenaline of the day: you will feel the excitement of moving through paths surrounded by nature between the forest and the valley, with just the right speed to have fun and enjoy the Ushuaia landscape. Also, if you are over 18, you will have your turn to drive the ATV! (Keep in mind that the quad bikes are two-seaters, meaning shared driving: two passengers ride on one ATV and halfway through the route, they switch drivers, without exception). And if there are minors or you prefer not to drive, you can always go as a passenger and enjoy the scenery with total peace of mind.

6. Hike to an active beaver lodge

The afternoon continues with a short hike that will lead us to discover an active beaver dam. There, you will see how beavers have transformed Ushuaia's ecosystem by building their dams and understand the impact they generate in nature. It is a different moment within the adventure: walking, exploring, and being surprised by a natural scene seen so closely in Ushuaia.

7. Garibaldi Pass Viewpoint

After finishing the activities at Villa Las Cotorras, we return to National Route No. 3 heading towards the heart of the Fuegian Andes. As we move forward, the landscape fills with lenga and ñire forests, peat bogs, and finally the mountains that accompany the ascent until reaching the Garibaldi Pass viewpoint. This is the only trans-cordilleran pass on the island and one of the most sought-after panoramic points: from here, two classic postcards of Tierra del Fuego can be appreciated. On one side, Lake Escondido, surrounded by forests, and in the background, the imposing Lake Fagnano.

8. Break at Casona de Mary

The path leads us to Casona de Mary, a classic rest stop along National Route 3, where we make a brief technical stop. This place, well-known by locals and travelers roaming the island, is a resting point in the middle of the landscape. Here you will have a moment to stretch your legs, use the restrooms and, if you wish, try a hot drink or a tempting "torta frita," before facing the most adventurous part of the tour: the off-road section towards Lake Fagnano.

9. Off-Road Adventure in Bombilla Nature Reserve

After the break, the most exciting part of the day arrives: the off-road section in the Bombilla Nature Reserve. In this stretch, our 4x4 vehicles are put to the test: mud tracks, roots, uneven terrain and irregular paths that seem impossible for any other vehicle. Together with our expert drivers, adrenaline and fun combine with the natural environment, crossing forests and hidden trails until reaching the shore of Lake Fagnano.

10. Lake Fagnano Shores with Local Snacks Included

11. Return to your accommodation in Ushuaia

As the day comes to an end, we begin the return trip to your accommodation in Ushuaia alrededor de las 20 hs. La sensación que queda es la de haber vivido una excursión completa: aventura 4×4, naturaleza, historia y sabores patagónicos, capping off the experience at the End of the World in the late afternoon.

The order of activities may vary depending on the day's organization, but the quality of your experience will always be respected.

🚀 Don't miss out on this unique spring experience. Book now and discover the End of the World during its most vibrant season!
