1. We pick you up directly from your accommodation
The day begins with the comfort of knowing that you don’t have to worry about a thing. We pick you up directly from your accommodation in Ushuaia and start leaving the city behind. We head toward National Route No. 3, the only road that connects the island of Tierra del Fuego from south to north.
As we continue, the urban landscape fades away and nature begins to take over. You’ll see how the trees, peat bogs, and snow-covered mountains gradually become the main features of the scenery.
The Carbajal Valley comes into view and amazes us with its vast expanse of frozen peat bogs, surrounded by snow-covered mountains and forests.
2. We visit a Siberian husky kennel
Our first stop is the Siberian husky kennel at Siberianos de Fuego, home to more than 130 strong, noble, and absolutely adorable dogs that have been part of the history of winter in Ushuaia through the practice of mushing.
You’ll be able to meet them up close, pet them, and take the sweetest photos. It’s a moment full of puppy love, perfect for connecting with the warmest side of winter, surrounded by thick coats, tongues hanging out, and tails that never stop wagging.
3. We arrive at the Villa Las Cotorras winter center
We leave the dogs behind and continue on to Villa Las Cotorras, a historic winter center in Ushuaia surrounded by snow-covered mountains, forests, and valleys.
The snow covers everything in a unique silence, broken only by the sounds of nature. This is where the real experience begins: you step out of the vehicle, take a deep breath, and feel that you’ve reached the heart of winter in Ushuaia.
4. Snowshoeing trek
We put on our snowshoes and set out to walk through the snow-covered valley, following sections that pass through the forest and open areas of the valley.
The crunch of the snow beneath your feet, the mist of your breath in the air, and the trees covered in white on either side: it’s a moment of complete connection with the surroundings. There’s no need to rush. Just walk, look around, and enjoy.
5. Fun with snow sledding
Now comes one of the most fun moments of this experience: sledding. You sit on one of these distinctive plastic sleds, so typical of our winter, and slide down the snow while laughing and having fun.
You can go on your own, with someone else, race, fall, get back up, and laugh. Age doesn’t matter: sledding always brings out the kid in all of us. It’s simple, joyful, and genuinely unforgettable.
6. ATVs with tracks: adventure over snow
Finally, one of the most anticipated moments: the tracked ATV ride, specially designed to move confidently over the snow.
If you’re over 18 years old, you’ll get your turn to drive the ATV and feel in control throughout the ride! (the ATVs are two-seaters, so the driving is shared: two passengers ride on ONE ATV and switch drivers halfway through the route); and if you’re under 18 or prefer not to drive, you can ride as a passenger and enjoy the experience alongside our guides.
The valley opens up in front of you, the snow sprays up as you move forward, and the landscape takes on a whole new rhythm: pure excitement, fun, and adrenaline in the middle of winter in Ushuaia.
7. Break to recharge energy
Before returning, we take a break to warm up and recharge energy. We enjoy a hot drink and something delicious to eat, in a relaxed moment to share and close the experience calmly.
8. Return to Ushuaia along the scenic route
We begin the return to Ushuaia with the satisfaction of having lived a great experience, returning along the same path and enjoying the landscape once more. We drop you off at our downtown office so you can continue exploring and discovering the city.

The activities are specially designed so that everyone can enjoy the Ushuaia winter with tranquility and fun, regardless of age. Both children and adults take home unforgettable memories.
It is important to be well dressed, with comfortable clothes suitable for snow. We recommend dressing in layers, with a waterproof jacket, snow pants (waterproof), hat, gloves, and waterproof boots.
If you don't have technical clothing, don't worry: it can be easily rented in Ushuaia. And if you need to rent boots, contact us and we will help you.
It is not canceled. The excursion is perfectly adapted to be enjoyed in all typical winter weather conditions in Ushuaia. The changing weather is part of the charm, and our activities are prepared to experience the snow and adventure with total safety and comfort.

Yes, during the winter season this experience is available every day except Sundays, as long as snow conditions are suitable. We recommend booking in advance, as it is a very popular activity and spots tend to sell out quickly.
Yes! If you are over 18 years old, you will have your turn to drive the tracked ATV. The ATVs are two-seaters, therefore the driving is shared: TWO PASSENGERS ride ONE ATV and halfway through the route, the driver is swapped. If you are a minor or prefer not to drive, no problem: you can enjoy the ride just the same and go as a passenger.
The excursion does not include lunch or dinner, but we do offer a comforting break with hot drinks and sweet treats to snack on, ideal for recharging energy and continuing to enjoy the day in the snow. You will love this relaxing moment!
