Characteristics of the quadricycle tour

This activity for the whole family takes place aboard modern Polaris two-seater ATVs, to discover, along the winding road, different obstacles along the wonderful coast of Lake Fagnano, the largest lake in the province of Tierra del Fuego.

During the trip, beavers can be observed in their typical dwellings, called castoreras, located in the dams, as well as the native Fuegian forest, with lenga and ñires trees, among other species.

The tour has a duration of approximately one hour and has to be contracted in the same package of the 4×4 excursion in the Lakes. It includes lunch and transfers.

How are the ATVs

Although it is a vehicle known to almost everyone, some general specifications should be noted. It has different names depending on the region of the planet, such as quad bike, quad, quadricycle, all terrain vehicle or ATV. Its most common uses are: recreational, for tasks in the field and for specific sports.

They are multifunctional and can be used on any surface, such as water, land, sand, forest, uphill trails, etc. Their lightness and ability allow them to be used in any terrain and they have a powerful engine and automatic gearbox. They are not recommended for riding on asphalt and the use of helmets is mandatory on loose terrain.
