Do you want to live a day outdoors in the most beautiful valleys of Ushuaia, surrounded by nature, activities, and tranquility? Valley Adventure is an experience designed to disconnect from the city and connect with the real Tierra del Fuego landscape: trees, mountains, clean air, and exclusive outdoor activities.
We pick you up directly from your accommodation in Ushuaia and leave the city behind, heading to the north of the island to enter a different pace. Traveling along National Route No. 3, we cross the Carbajal Valley with its extensive peat bogs.
We stop at the Siberianos de Fuego kennel, where you can meet the famous Siberian husky dogs. They are friendly, energetic, and part of Ushuaia's winter identity. Although you won't see them in action at this time, you'll be able to interact with them, take photos, and share a moment full of doggy love.
From there, we continue towards the Tierra Mayor Valley, where Villa Las Cotorras is located—one of Ushuaia's historic winter centers and the base for the rest of the activities awaiting us for the day.
We prepare to experience two activities to enjoy the outdoors and nature of Ushuaia: a quad bike ride through the valley, the day's adrenaline dose, and, additionally, you will have the opportunity to take a hike to strategic panoramic points from where you will be able to contemplate Cerro Krund and Cerro Castor. Furthermore, you will enjoy a break with delicious snacks and hot drinks to have, sitting quietly, looking around.
Valley Adventure is about moving, driving, walking, and seeing everything with your own eyes, not from a window. It's not a passing excursion: it's a close-up, unfiltered outing. If you want to break the routine and do something different in Ushuaia, this is your experience.
1. We start the adventure directly from your accommodation
The experience starts directly from the door of your accommodation in Ushuaia. As soon as we leave the city, we begin to travel along National Route No. 3. In just a few minutes, you start to see how the landscape changes: less traffic, more forest, more horizon. It is a clear transition from the urban rhythm to the natural environment.
2. Encounter with Siberian Huskies
The first stop is at Siberianos de Fuego, a winter center and Siberian husky kennel, home to more than 130 dogs. You will meet the famous winter protagonists, who keep the mushing culture alive in Ushuaia (in winter they perform the famous dog sledding). Besides sharing a moment full of doggy love, where you can pet and play with them, you'll be able to take the most beautiful photos of the day with them; their lively gazes and contagious energy make it impossible not to be moved.
3. Arrival at Villa Las Cotorras
Just a few minutes from Siberianos de Fuego, we enter the Tierra Mayor Valley area and arrive at Villa Las Cotorras, one of Ushuaia's historic winter centers and the point where you will live these exclusive outdoor experiences. The place preserves its rustic style, surrounded by forests and mountains. This is where the good stuff begins: movement, exploration, and real disconnection.
4. All-terrain ATV tour
The time has come to experience the true adrenaline of hopping on a quad bike and riding through real valley paths. No driving in circles in a parking lot: you head out to the valley, drive through forest sections and firm terrain. You feel the pure air, the engine's vibration, and the freedom of moving through places without signs.
If you are more than 18 years old, you will have your turn to drive the quad bike yourself (keep in mind that quad bikes are two-seaters, therefore driving is shared: two passengers get on one quad bike and halfway through the route the driver changes). If you are not the required age or prefer not to drive, you can go as a passenger and enjoy the valley landscape with total peace of mind.
The circuit is designed for enjoyment, not competition: you will pass through sections between trees and open landscape areas. It is a dynamic, safe activity with the perfect dose of adventure to make it unforgettable.
5. Walk through the valley
We slow down the pace and it is time for a short walk through the valley that will lead us to discover strategic panoramic points from where you will be able to appreciate Cerro Krund and Cerro Castor. It is a moment to walk between forest and pure air, stop to observe the immensity of the surroundings, and close the outdoor experience by connecting with Ushuaia's nature.
6. A break to enjoy tasty treats
After the activities, a key moment arrives: recharging with tasty treats. A break with drinks and snacks awaits you, designed to recover your energy and share a quiet moment. It is the kind of pause that doesn't interrupt the experience but completes it.
7. We return to Ushuaia with a happy heart
After the activities, we return to Ushuaia along the same route. We drop you off at the door of our downtown office, with new energy and the real feeling of having made the most of the trip: you did something different, you moved, and you saw another side of the valleys near the southernmost city in the world.
