Do you want to navigate the Beagle Channel in a more relaxed, comfortable, and personalized way? The Premium Navigation in Ushuaia is a yacht experience for small groups of up to 23 passengers, ideal if you want to enjoy the landscapes and wildlife of the channel away from large tour groups.
Aboard our modern yacht, you’ll visit the most representative spots of the Beagle Channel, such as the Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse, Sea Lion Island, Bird Island, and Alicia Island. During the navigation, you’ll be able to see sea lions and seabirds, and take the classic photo with the famous lighthouse, often misnamed the “End of the World Lighthouse”.
Fewer passengers, more personalized attention, greater comfort, and a more relaxed atmosphere throughout the entire experience. In addition, the navigation includes the port fee and refreshments on board, so you can focus only on enjoying the journey.
The Premium Beagle Channel Navigation is an excellent option if you want to discover one of Ushuaia’s most representative landscapes with a more exclusive, attentive, and personalized service.
1. We start the adventure from the Port of Ushuaia
We’ll meet at our Seaboat booth at the Ushuaia Tourist Port, just a few blocks from downtown. We’ll get ready to board our exclusive private yacht, and from the moment you step aboard, you’ll feel the unique excitement of setting sail through one of the most famous channels in the world, in an experience completely personalized for your comfort.
2. We leave Ushuaia behind and begin navigating the Beagle Channel
As the yacht leaves the port behind, Ushuaia begins to reveal itself from a different perspective, with the city, mountains, and sea forming one of the most representative images of the End of the World. It’s the beginning of a navigation designed to enjoy the scenery more calmly and without rushing.
3. We’re going to discover Bird Island
We’ll navigate around Bird Island, home to a great variety of seabirds that inhabit the waters of the Beagle Channel. From our yacht, you’ll be able to spot species such as imperial and rock cormorants, skuas, black-browed albatrosses, and upland geese, making the Premium Beagle Channel Navigation an ideal way to enjoy birdwatching in Ushuaia.
4. It’s time to discover Sea Lion Island
We’ll discover the iconic Sea Lion Island, another of the best-known spots in the Beagle Channel for observing marine wildlife, as it is home to colonies of South American sea lions and fur seals. From the yacht, you’ll be able to see them up close on the rocks, moving around, playing, resting, and even going in and out of the water. Without a doubt, one of the most entertaining moments of the entire excursion.
5. You’ll get your unmissable photo with the Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse
It’s time for the most anticipated moment of the Beagle Channel Navigation: reaching the famous Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse, one of the most recognizable landmarks in the Beagle Channel and often misnamed the “End of the World Lighthouse”. It’s that place everyone has in mind before traveling to Ushuaia, and now you’ll get to see it firsthand.
Our captain will get close enough for you to admire it from a distance that other boats don’t allow, and thanks to this, you’ll be able to take the must-have photo with the wrongly called “End of the World Lighthouse” in the background: that photo that will represent your time in Ushuaia, the one travelers from all over the world look for, and that marks the moment of having reached the End of the World.
6. We return to Ushuaia with the final panoramic views
After visiting the most iconic spots in the Beagle Channel, it’s time to return to the city. We begin to say goodbye to the Beagle Channel as Ushuaia comes back into view, giving you the final panoramic views of the city with the Martial mountain range in the background.
Finally, we disembark once again at the Ushuaia Tourist Port.

Yes. It’s an experience suitable for all ages, ideal for enjoying the Beagle Channel on a more relaxed and comfortable outing with small groups.
We recommend wearing warm layers, a waterproof jacket, hat, gloves, and scarf. During the navigation, especially on deck, the air on the Beagle Channel can feel chilly.
The main difference lies in the format of the experience. The Premium Navigation takes place on a modern yacht for a maximum of 23 passengers, while traditional navigations are operated on higher-capacity catamarans.
Since it’s a small group, you’ll enjoy the Beagle Channel in a more personalized way, with greater comfort and more attentive service throughout the entire journey.
In addition, the Premium experience includes the port fee and refreshments on board.
The Premium Navigation is subject to the conditions of the Beagle Channel and may be canceled if the Argentine Naval Prefecture suspends navigation due to adverse weather conditions.
It may also happen that there is too much wind for this type of vessel. In that case, as long as conditions still allow navigation, we’ll offer you the alternative of doing the experience by catamaran.
Yes, onboard service is included, where you can enjoy hot drinks, coffee, savory crackers, and alfajores to make your navigation even more comfortable.
We’ll meet at the Seaboat booth, located in the booth area of the Ushuaia Tourist Port, where boarding takes place.
Transfer is not included. The Ushuaia Tourist Port is just a few blocks from downtown, so you can easily get there on your own.
