This first day of the 2-Day Summer Package in Ushuaia is free for you to explore the city at your own pace: you can go for a walk around downtown, stroll along the waterfront and admire the Beagle Channel, try the local cuisine, or visit museums.
💡 Includes:
We’ll explore Tierra del Fuego National Park, the only national park in Argentina where forests, mountains, and sea come together in one place. We’ll take you directly to discover its most iconic sites: the famous Lapataia Bay, the beautiful Lake Acigami, Laguna Verde, and Ensenada Zaratiegui, some of the most captivating corners of the park.
In addition, you’ll board the famous End of the World Train, where you’ll journey back through time along the final 7 km of the original route that the prisoners of the former Ushuaia Prison traveled daily, passing through historic landscapes of forests, valleys, and streams that still preserve traces of that era.
Now comes the moment for a unique experience: the unforgettable Penguin Watching Navigation through the legendary Beagle Channel. You’ll have the opportunity to spot Magellanic and Gentoo penguins from the deck at Martillo Island.
In addition, we’ll see South American sea lions and South American fur seals at Sea Lion Island, seabirds at Bird Island, and the famous Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse, the iconic red-and-white lighthouse that became a symbol of Ushuaia after being mistakenly called the Lighthouse at the End of the World — and a photo you definitely won’t want to miss.
