The adventure begins when we all depart together from our office in downtown Ushuaia. From there, we head north of the island along National Route No. 3, famous for its panoramic views between mountains, peat bogs and snowy forests, as well as being the road to Ushuaia's winter centers and the only route that connects the southernmost city in the world with the rest of Tierra del Fuego.
In Villa Las Cotorras, the center of our adventure with exclusive winter activities, you will live the experience of a snowshoe walk through the snowy valley, feeling the immensity of the winter landscape with the first colors of sunset.
Without a doubt, the most awaited part of the afternoon is the adrenaline of the ATV ride with tracks, traveling through the valley and forests guided by our specialized instructors, with the twilight light already settling around.
The fun continues with the classic culipatin, a moment of guaranteed laughter where you will slide through the snow with this particular plastic sled. And to finish, you will enjoy a break at the Villa Las Cotorras mountain refuge, with hot infusions and delicious treats: the perfect closing to recover energy and warm up.

1. We all depart together from our office
The experience begins when the city lights start to turn on. We all depart together from our office downtown (Av. San Martin 775) and leave the lights of Ushuaia behind, heading towards National Route No. 3, the only route that connects the island of Tierra del Fuego from north to south. Our destination: Villa Las Cotorras, 26 km from the city, a historic Ushuaia winter center where exclusive seasonal activities await you. As we move forward, the landscape transforms: we cross the Carbajal Valley and the Tierra Mayor Valley, where snow covers forests, mountains, and peat bogs, transforming everything, as the night falls and begins to take center stage.
2. We arrive at the Villa Las Cotorras winter center
With the first lights of sunset starting to appear in the sky, we arrive at Villa Las Cotorras, surrounded by completely snow-covered mountains, forests, and valleys. The snow covers everything with a unique silence, only interrupted by the sounds of nature. This is where the true experience begins: you step off the vehicle, take a deep breath, and feel that you have reached the heart of winter in Ushuaia during its twilight.
3. Night snowshoe walk
We put on our snowshoes and head out to walk through the snowy valley. Under the dim light of sunset or with the first stars appearing, we will traverse stretches between the forest and open sectors of the valley. The crunch of the snow under your feet, the vapor of your breath in the air, the trees covered in white on each side: it is a moment of total connection with the surroundings. No need to hurry. Just walk, look, and enjoy.
4. Fun with culipatin under the lights of the winter center
One of the most fun moments of this night experience arrives: the culipatin. You sit on one of these particular plastic boards characteristic of our winter, to slide through the snow and launch yourself amidst laughter. You can go alone, with someone, race, fall, get up, laugh. Age doesn't matter: culipatin always awakens the child we all carry inside. It is simple, joyful, and genuinely unforgettable.
5. Adventure on ATVs with tracks
Finally, one of the most anticipated moments of the night: the ATV ride with tracks, specially designed to advance firmly over the snow. If you are over 18, you will have your turn to drive the ATV and feel the control in every stretch! (ATVs are two-seaters, therefore driving is shared: two passengers get on ONE ATV and switch drivers halfway through the tour); and if you are a minor or prefer not to drive, you can go as a passenger and also enjoy the tour with our guides. The valley opens before you illuminated by the light of the flashlights, the snow rises at every step and the landscape moves at another rhythm: pure emotion, fun and adrenaline in the middle of this winter night in Ushuaia.
6. Break to recharge energy
Before returning, we take a break to warm up and recharge energy. We enjoy a hot drink and something delicious to eat, in a relaxed moment to share and close the experience calmly.

We begin our return to Ushuaia, with the satisfaction of having lived a great night experience, returning along the same path while the night accompanies us. Yes, during the winter season this experience is available every day except Sundays, as long as snow conditions are suitable. We recommend booking in advance, as it is a very popular activity and spots tend to sell out quickly.
Yes! If you are over 18 years old, you will have your turn to drive the tracked ATV. The ATVs are two-seaters, therefore the driving is shared: TWO PASSENGERS ride ONE ATV and halfway through the route, the driver is swapped. If you are a minor or prefer not to drive, no problem: you can enjoy the ride just the same and go as a passenger.
The excursion does not include lunch or dinner, but we do offer a comforting break with hot drinks and sweet treats to snack on, ideal for recharging energy and continuing to enjoy the day in the snow. You will love this relaxing moment!
