🌞🌲 Full Tierra del Fuego National Park Tour – (Summer)

The Tierra del Fuego National Park FULL tour in Ushuaia is the most complete proposal for exploring nature, local gastronomy, and the essence of the southernmost city in the world in a single experience.

It combines a tour of the most emblematic points of Tierra del Fuego National Park, a complete lunch at El Asador Steak House, and a City Tour through Ushuaia, creating an All-in-One Experience that brings together the best of the region in a single day.

You'll get to explore the only national park in our Argentina where forest, sea, and mountains meet in a single setting, the best time of the year: where summer in Ushuaia transforms the experience with longer days, clear skies, and accessible trails. The lenga and ñire forests display their most intense green, the peat bogs acquire brilliant hues under the sun, and the most pleasant climate ensures every stop is enjoyed with greater comfort.

During the visit, you'll get to explore iconic places such as:

  • 🌊 Lapataia Bay, the end of National Route Nº3 and the Pan-American Highway.

  • 🏞️ Acigami Lake, surrounded by mountains and leafy forests illuminated by the summer light.

  • 🌿 Green Lagoon, with its emerald tone and views of Mount Cóndor.

  • 🌅 Ensenada Zaratiegui Bay, featuring its historic pier and the southernmost post office box of the Argentine Post Office.

To complete the FULL experience, you'll enjoy a full lunch at El Asador Steak House, featuring an all-you-can-eat multi-course grill that includes a variety of meats, hot options, side dishes, and meals for all tastes, in a modern, spacious, and very comfortable setting.

In addition, the day includes a City Tour through Ushuaia, designed to explore the city from a deeper perspective. You'll discover viewpoints, historical areas, traditional neighborhoods, and key spots that narrate the development of the world's southernmost city.

The Tierra del Fuego National Park FULL – Summer version offers you a complete experience that combines nature, history, gastronomy, and an urban perspective of Ushuaia, in the season where the city and the park show their brightest and most active side.

*YOUR DAY, STEP-BY-STEP:

1. Your adventure starts right at your doorstep

From that moment on, you'll know this day is going to be unforgettable. We'll pick you up right at the door of your accommodation and head towards the city's southwest area, straight to the legendary Tierra del Fuego National Park, just 12 km from downtown Ushuaia.

2. Exploring the Tierra del Fuego National Park

You'll discover the characteristic landscapes of the Tierra del Fuego National Park: its mountains, lakes of glacial origin, and vast peat bogs, along with the native forests of lenga, ñire, and coihue trees that define the region, home to the friendly red fox and the emblematic giant woodpecker. You'll feel how nature and history intertwine to make this national park an absolutely unique place.

3. Lapataia Bay: The Postcard of the End of the World

Upon arriving at Lapataia Bay, the first thing you'll see is the famous sign, an international symbol, that marks the end of National Route N°3, the same one that connects Ushuaia to Alaska via the Pan-American Highway: you've reached the End of the World! You'll be able to walk along its wooden boardwalk that borders the bay and provides access to different viewpoints, observing the meeting of the sea, the mountains, and the forests of the area, with views that show why this is one of the most emblematic places in the Tierra del Fuego National Park.

4. Laguna Verde and Acigami Lake: Ancestral Landscapes

You'll appreciate the imposing views of Cerro Cóndor, the imaginary border with our sister country Chile, at Laguna Verde. Then, you'll arrive at Acigami Lake, a lake whose name, from the native Yámana people, means “elongated basket,” a reference to the lake's shape. Here you'll observe how the ancient inhabitants lived in deep harmony with the Patagonian nature.

5. Ensenada Zaratiegui Bay: Where the Sea Hugs the Land

Ensenada Zaratiegui is an unforgettable panoramic spot where the Beagle Channel cuts into the land, creating magical views, surrounded by flag tree forests, trees shaped by the region's winds. Here you'll contemplate the famous Redonda Island and visit the last post office box of the Argentine Post Office, an emblematic place.

6. Return to the city to continue the experience

After exploring the landscapes of the Tierra del Fuego National Park. This transfer brings us back to the city, where the unmissable lunch at El Asador Steak House awaits you.

7. Lunch at El Asador

At El Asador Steak House you will enjoy a complete lunch with an all-you-can-eat grill format served in courses, featuring a variety of meat cuts, side dishes, hot options, and plates for all tastes. It is an ideal moment to relax, take a comfortable break, and enjoy a plentiful meal before continuing with the City Tour experience that will complete your day in Ushuaia.

8. Ushuaia City Tour: the ideal ending to complete your experience

A full belly, a happy heart. We pick you up from El Asador to take you to experience the City Tour. You will visit the most representative spots in Ushuaia, adding a complete view of the city, its history, and its identity. It is the perfect closing to complement the experience lived in the National Park and on the End of the World Train.

On this tour, you will see::

  • La Misión and El Solier Neighborhoods:

First settlements of the city, with stories about the pioneers and the old cemetery that was part of its founding stage.

  • Ushuaia Corporeal Sign:

One of the most sought-after photos of the trip, with the Beagle Channel and the mountain range as a backdrop.

  • Ushuaia Waterfront:

Panoramic view of the channel and the port, while you discover the daily rhythm of the city en route to Paseo del Fuego.

  • Ushuaia Industrial Park:

A quick look at the productive sector that drove the modern growth of the city.

  • Las Hayas viewpoint:

One of the most expansive and emblematic views: Ushuaia surrounded by mountains, forests, and the sea.

  • San Martín Avenue:

Ushuaia's commercial heart, featuring cafes, restaurants, shops, and the most important museums.

  • Final Return:

We conclude the day by taking you back to your accommodation or to our office in the city center (Av. San Martín 775), whichever is most convenient for you. You will have the satisfaction of having lived a full day that combines nature, history, the city, and local identity. A tour that summarizes the best of Ushuaia in one single experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not at all!. The experience is carried out all year round under any weather condition. In Ushuaia, the weather is part of the landscape: it can change several times in the same day, and that gives the experience a unique charm. Furthermore, the itinerary is prepared to adapt without you missing anything essential.

El menú en El Asador Steak House incluye una propuesta de "all-you-can-eat" barbecue by steps and a buffet completo con guarniciones frías and calientes, además de una bebida (agua o gaseosa).

Even though it is summer, Ushuaia remains a Patagonian destination. You will have sunny days and cooler ones. The ideal is to dress in light layers:

  • Short or long-sleeved T-shirt
  • Sweatshirt or light jacket
  • Long, comfortable pants
  • Waterproof jacket.
  • Footwear suitable for walking (waterproof and with good soles).

Keep in mind that most of the time you are inside the vehicle; therefore, it is important to dress in layers to easily adapt to temperature changes.

No, it isn't. Due to regulations set by National Parks Administration, the entrance fee must be paid personally upon entry to the park, using cash (Argentine pesos).

If you prefer to pay by card, please visit the National Parks website to purchase your ticket online.

This is a separate cost from the tour, and the fee varies depending on your category (residency).

Yes, it's an ideal activity for everyone! From families with small children to older people, everyone can enjoy this tour. The main travel segments are done by train and vehicle, and the walks are short. Plus, the guide accompanies you at all times, ensuring that everyone can enjoy themselves at their own pace.

Depending on the daily number of passengers, we use comfortable vans or minibuses. We always prioritize your comfort so you can enjoy the trip to the fullest.

Absolutely! In all of our excursions you'll be accompanied by a professional bilingual guide (Spanish-English), who will share stories, anecdotes and interesting facts with you throughout the entire journey.

The time spent at each location may vary slightly depending on how the excursion unfolds ese día. Siempre tratamos de que ensure you can enjoy it peacefully, taking photos and making the most of each stop without rushing.
