🚂🌸 National Park + Classic End of the World Train – Spring Sunset Version

The tour National Park + End of the World Train – Sunset tour in Ushuaia brings together two of the must-do experiences at the End of the World in its afternoon version: the historic End of the World Train and a visit to the most emblematic sites in the Tierra del Fuego National ParkA proposal designed to enjoy the afternoon amidst history, nature, and the most recognized landscapes of the southernmost city in the world.

During spring in Ushuaia, the environment is renewed: the forests regain their vibrant green color, wildflowers appear in the valleys, and the milder weather milder weather allows you to enjoy every stop with greater comfort.

You will board the famous End of the World Train, reliving in time and space the last 7 km of the original route taken by the former prisoners of the Ushuaia prison a century ago. Aboard its panoramic carriages, you will gaze upon landscapes of valleys, rivers, and forests, framed by the mountain range and the history of this austral land.

Furthermore, you will discover the main attractions of the Tierra del Fuego National Park, the only national park in our Argentina where the forest, the sea, and the mountains meet in a single landscape. During the visit, you will get to know iconic places such as:

  • 🌊 Lapataia Bay: The end of National Route N°3 and the Pan-American Highway—the same road that connects Ushuaia with Alaska. It's a symbolic spot and one of the most sought-after photos by travelers: you will take the iconic photo with the sign, a symbol recognized internationally.

  • 🏞️ Acigami Lake: A glacial origin. You will gaze upon one of the largest and most beautiful bodies of water in the park, famous for its absolute calm and the imposing mountains and forests that surround it. This lake is specially chosen by travelers seeking an environment where nature and tranquility are experienced in their purest state.

  • 🌿 Green Lagoon: An emerald-colored lagoon surrounded by forests, a spot that attracts travelers due to the singular beauty of its waters and its views of Cerro Cóndor , the natural border between Argentina and Chile. A perfect corner to relax, breathe pure air, and enjoy the natural essence of Ushuaia.

  • 🌅 Ensenada Zaratiegui Bay: With its historic pier and the famous End of the World post office, the Ensenada Zaratiegui Bay is renowned for its panoramic views of the Beagle Channel, the Redonda Island , and its "flag tree" forests. Plus, you will have the unique opportunity to visit the southernmost post office of the Argentine Postal Service.

The Tierra del Fuego National Park + End of the World Train – Spring Sunset combo is an ideal experience for those who want to live the essence of Ushuaia in its most colorful version, enjoying the renewed spring landscapes, the history behind the world's southernmost train, and the thrill of touring the most beautiful landscapes of the End of the World in the afternoon.

Its name comes from the Yámana language, the indigenous people who inhabited these austral coasts and lived in close relation with the sea and nature. Acigami means “elongated basket”, a reference to the shape of the lake. This site invites you to contemplate its peaceful environment and understand how the ancient Yámanas navigated these same landscapes, leveraging their resources and the environment.

We booked this tour months before our arrival in Ushuaia. Their communications are clear and timely. We were picked up from our hotel on time. The bus was comfotable and safe. Our guide, Elieen, was excellent. She is pleasent and knowledgeable. She shared a lot of information about history and culture. We were dropped off at the train station. Eileen helped us with our train ticckets and made sure we were in line for boarding. The scenery along the train route was awesome...
