You'll get to enjoy the Fuegian summer firsthand, with landscapes full of life, lush forests, wildflowers, clear skies, and spectacular views throughout the entire journey.

During the journey, you'll hear captivating stories about how the former prisoners worked under extreme conditions, logging these very forests until 1947 to supply wood to the small city that was emerging at the southern end of the world. Additionally, you'll discover iconic sites such as La Macarena Station, where you'll be able to admire a hidden waterfall and privileged panoramic views of the Pipo River Valley, especially beautiful in summer, when the landscape is shown in its full splendor, with lush vegetation and intense colors.

The Tourist Class offers comfortable and cozy carriages, large panoramic windows so you can take the best pictures of the journey, as well as a multilingual audio system to comfortably listen to historical stories that will further enrich your experience.

Get on board and travel back in time! 🚂🌿 🚂🌿

YOUR DAY, STEP-BY-STEP:

1. End of the World Station: start of the ride

You will discover the "behind the scenes" of the Fuegian Southern Railway at the End of the World Station.
You'll observe the historical engine room in full operation and walk through a photo gallery that will tell you the thrilling story of the world's southernmost train, preparing you for the ride that is about to begin.

2. Passengers, All Aboard!

Once on board, you will travel the final 7 original kilometers of the famous "Prisoners' Train". This route follows the tracks used by the former Ushuaia prisoners to travel from the jail towards the slopes of Mount Susana, where they carried out tasks of extracting wood and building materials. As you slowly make your way, you'll feel a profound sense that you are a living part of a real history that took place over a century ago.

3. La Macarena Station: Nature and Contemplation

At the La Macarena intermediate station, you will have the opportunity to step off and walk to a breathtaking viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the Pipo River Valley, Cerro Guanaco, Cerro La Portada, and Mount Susana. In this marvelous natural setting, you will also discover the beautiful La Macarena waterfall, a hidden gem that will be etched in your memory. After a few unforgettable minutes, the train whistle will invite you back on board to continue the ride.
