Vas a viajar cómodamente hacia el Valle Tierra Mayor, a unos 20 kilómetros de Ushuaia, atravesando la National Route N°3, mientras disfrutás de vistas panorámicas increíbles of bosques, montañas y valles glaciares. I booked everything with Info (TRANSFERS, NATIONAL PARK AND END OF THE WORLD TRAIN, BEAGLE CHANNEL NAVIGATION, WHITE NIGHT — snowmobile and snowshoes — EMERALD LAGOON TREK, LAKES), and I even received an upgrade that included lunch (Patagonian lamb barbecue at Las Cotorras Winter Center), which wasn’t originally included in the Lakes experience. We did several activities with the company and had no issues at all. The guides (Jacqueline, Marcos, Javier) and the driver (Guille) were excellent. We also arranged the transfers to and from the airport with them, and they were truly very punctual — totally recommended.

Today I did the White Day excursion — everything was excellent: the food, the driver Ramón, and the guides in the different activities. Highly recommended, very punctual, truly super recommended.

Sí, pueden participar niños a partir de 11 años aproximadamente, siempre que disfruten caminar en la naturaleza. Adultos mayores activos también pueden hacer este trekking sin inconvenientes.

¿Qué ropa tengo que llevar en invierno para el trekking?

El invierno en Ushuaia es mágico, con paisajes nevados and aire puro. Para disfrutar al máximo, te recomendamos vestirte por capas, con abrigo suficiente:

Remera térmica o manga larga
Polar o buzo grueso
Campera impermeable y cortaviento
Pantalón de trekking, pantalón cómodo + calza abajo.
Calzado impermeable y con buena suela
Hat, gloves and scarf

No es necesario comprar ropa técnica: también existe la posibilidad de alquilar indumentaria. Lo importante es ir cómodo, abrigado y disfrutar sin preocuparte por el frío.

¿Qué necesito llevar para el trekking?

Es importante que vengas preparado para disfrutar al máximo del recorrido.

Es necesario que vengas con calzado cómodo y apto para trekking (borcegos con buen agarre e impermeables), ropa cómoda para caminar and warm clothing suitable for the Patagonian weather (campera impermeable, polar o buzo térmico).
El secreto es dressing in layers to adaptarte fácilmente a los cambios del clima and caminar con comodidad.

También es importante venir con una mochila cómoda para poder llevar o guardar tu abrigo.

Are there bathrooms on the tour?

El sendero no tiene baños “formales”. El trekking transcurre en plena naturaleza.
