En el camino aparecen los Ushuaia's winter resorts, como el famoso Cerro Castor (el centro de esquí más austral del mundo), y en Rancho Hambre nos desviamos para seguir por la Provincial Route J, que se adentra por el bosque autóctono de nothofagus and the serpenteante río Lasifashaj. Además, vas a conocer la Laguna Victoria and the famous Flag Tree, moldeado por los vientos patagónicos de la región.
Famoso por la calidad de sus productos del mar, using Almanza Port vas a conocer de cerca la vida de los pescadores locales que diariamente obtienen centollas, mejillones and pescados frescos.

Vamos a salir de la ciudad rumbo a la King Crab Route, hacia el norte y luego hacia el este de la isla, in an recorrido escénico que te va a llevar a conocer uno de los secretos mejor guardados de Tierra del Fuego, Almanza Port, a 70 km de Ushuaia.
2. National Route No. 3: valleys, winter centers, and historical sites
Vamos a transitar la legendaria Ruta Nacional N.º 3, una de las más emblemáticas del país, que atraviesa los valles y bosques más característicos de la geografía de Ushuaia. Vas a pasar por el Carbajal Valley, a valle de origen glaciar que en otoño se viste de tonos rojos, naranjas y amarillos con sus extensas turberas and native forests, mientras las montañas de la Cordillera de los Andes Fueguinos enmarcan el paisaje con su majestuosidad.
Along the way, we will come across the Ushuaia winter centers, such as Tierra Mayor, Villa Las Cotorras, and the Cerro Castor area, the southernmost ski resort in the world. At Rancho Hambre, a key site in Ushuaia's history as it was the location of the first attempted European settlement on the island, we will detour to continue along Provincial Route J.
3. Route J: scenic road to the Beagle Channel
Al desviarnos por la Ruta J, el entorno se vuelve cada vez más agreste y auténtico, con los colores cálidos del otoño tiñendo los bosques de nothofagus and the turberas de tonos dorados, rojos y naranjas.
This camino de ripio serpentea entre bosques y acompaña el curso del Lasifashaj River. Además, vamos a descubrir la Laguna Victoria, a rincón natural rodeado de bosque que resalta aún más con la estación otoñal.
4. Scenic stop at the iconic Flag Tree
Antes de llegar a Almanza Port, vamos a desviarnos y detenernos a contemplar el Flag Tree, a formación natural cuya inclinación extrema, producto de los vientos del sur, se convirtió en símbolo del carácter de esta tierra. From here, you will be able to sacar fotos espectaculares del paisaje.
