¿Cuánto dura el recorrido en tren?

El trayecto tiene una duración aproximada de 2 horas, en su recorrido ida y vuelta. Durante ese tiempo vas a disfrutar del relato histórico, vistas únicas del valle y una parada breve en la Estación La Macarena, donde vas a poder bajar y sacar fotos.

¿El tren tiene guía?

Durante el recorrido se utiliza un sistema de audio multilingüe, con relatos grabados que explican la historia del tren, el penal y el entorno natural. No hay guía en vivo a bordo, pero la narración está cuidadosamente diseñada para enriquecer la experiencia.

Sí. El tren opera durante todo el año, incluso en días de lluvia o nieve. Los vagones están calefaccionados, y el servicio está preparado para funcionar con normalidad en el clima patagónico. Solo en casos excepcionales de fuerza mayor puede haber reprogramaciones.

¿Hay que pagar entrada al Parque si sólo tomo el tren?

Sí. Aunque el ticket de tren no incluye la visita al parque, la entrada al Parque Nacional debe abonarse igual, ya que el tren ingresa en su territorio. Este pago se realiza en el ingreso, en efectivo o con tarjeta, según las normas de Parques Nacionales.

¿Desde dónde sale el tren?

You will discover the "behind the scenes" of the Fuegian Southern Railway in the End of the World Station.
You'll observe the historical engine room in full operation and walk through a photo gallery that will tell you the thrilling story of the world's southernmost train, preparing you for the ride that is about to begin.

Once on board, you will travel the final 7 original kilometers of the famous "Prisoners' Train". This route follows the tracks used by the former Ushuaia prisoners to travel from the jail towards the slopes of Mount Susana, where they carried out tasks of extracting wood and building materials. As you slowly make your way, you'll feel a profound sense that you are a living part of a real history that took place over a century ago.

At the La Macarena intermediate station, you will have the opportunity to step off and walk to a breathtaking viewpoint, featuring panoramic views of the Pipo River Valley, the Cerro Guanaco, the Cerro La Portada and the Mount Susana. Tuvimos la posibilidad de coincidir con esta agencia para realizar nuestras excursiones en Ushuaia y estamos más que contentos. Mis papás fueron a Ushuaia 1 semana y quise darles la sorpresa de ir sin avisarles, por lo que contraté la excursión 4x4 (de las mejores) y darles la sorpresa al pasarlos a buscar. Agradable paseo en catamarán por el canal beagle con paradas en el faro y la isla de pingüinos de Martillo. Este viaje es agradable y vale la pena si te gustan los faros y los pingüinos. El catamarán se acerca a los lugares de interés, y pasa mucho tiempo allí para permitir a los turistas obtener sus fotos. Vimos 3 tipos de pingüinos: Magallanes, Gentoo y un pingüino rey. Hay una cafetería a un precio razonable que sirve bebidas, sándwiches, galletas y aperitivos...

El paseo es hermoso, increíbles paisajes. El paseo en el tren es una experiencia, todo muy bien organizado para que todos disfruten del viaje, el relator del recorrido es muy claro en sus descripciones y datos históricos. No te lo pierdas
