We start the adventure by exploring the famous Coastal Path, a picturesque trail that runs along the edge of the Beagle Channel, surrounded by native forests in full bloom. 1. Starting the experience right from your doorstep
From that moment on, you'll know this day is going to be unforgettable. We'll pick you up right at the door of your accommodation and head towards the city's southwest area, straight to the legendary Tierra del Fuego National Park, just 12 km from downtown Ushuaia.
2. Trekking por la Senda Costera
Iniciamos la primera parte de nuestra aventura con el trekking por la Senda Costera, one of senderos más representativos del Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego. Junto a nuestro expert local guide, salimos desde Ensenada Zaratiegui Bay y vamos a ir bordeando la costa del Beagle Channel.
A medida que avanzamos por el sendero, vamos a ir escuchando y, con algo de suerte, avistar aves, while sound of the water y combinación del bosque autóctono de ñires y lengas acompañan nuestra caminata en dirección al Lago Roca.
3. Llegada y almuerzo en el Lago Roca
Llegamos al final de nuestro trekking por la Senda Costera: the Lago Roca / Acigami, one of lagos más representativos del Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego. Rodeados del forest, mountains y frente a la presencia de este lago binacional de origen glaciar que compartimos con nuestros hermanos chilenos, es momento de hacer una pause.
Vamos a descansar, estirar las piernas and recargar energías with an almuerzo preparado especialmente para vos: cazuela de cordero with bebidas (vino, gaseosa o agua mineral), with opción vegetariana y apta para celíacos, y de postre un crumble de manzana con frutos del bosque.
Finalizada la primera parte de esta experiencia, nos preparamos para la siguiente parte: remar en canoas por el Río Lapataia.
4. Hora de la aventura en canoas: remamos por el Río Lapataia
Ahora sí, la parte más activa y divertida de nuestra excursión: nos equipamos y junto a nuestro instructor experto en rafting salimos a remar inflatable canoes (duckies) by the Lapataia River.
Seguimos el curso del río between bosque y costa, disfrutando cada tramo de nuestra aventura ya que no se necesita experiencia previa, sólo muchas ganas de disfrutar el paisaje desde el agua. hasta llegar a Lapataia Bay, el punto donde finaliza la Ruta Nacional N.º 3 y uno de los lugares más representativos del parque.
5. Llegamos a Bahía Lapataia
Llegamos a Lapataia Bay, one of puntos más conocidos del Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego y final de nuestro recorrido en canoas. Es el cierre de la experiencia, donde se conecta el río con la bahía.
Acá hacemos una pause para disfrutar el lugar y acercarnos al cartel de Fin de la Ruta Nacional N.º 3, one of puntos más buscados del parque, donde vas a poder sacar la iconic photo que simbólicamente marca el final de la Ruta Panamericana que une Ushuaia con Alaska.

This activity is carried out only during the spring-summer season (approximately from October to March). During these months, the conditions of the National Park and the rivers allow for comfortable trekking and canoeing.
