Y el momento más esperado de la navegación: el avistaje de pingüinos en Isla Martillo. Desde cubierta vas a ver poder observar a los magellanic penguins and pingüinas papúa en plena época de cría, moviéndose por la costa, entrando y saliendo del agua y ocupándose de sus nidos.

1. You start enjoying from the Ushuaia Port
We meet directly at the Tourist Port, located just a few blocks from the city center, and prepare for the adventure we are about to experience. 2. Vamos a descubrir la Isla de los Pájaros
Vamos a pasar por la Isla de los Pájaros, hogar de una gran variedad de aves marinas que habitan en las aguas del Beagle Channel. Desde la embarcación vas a poder ver especies como cormoranes imperiales y roqueros, escúas, albatros de ceja negra and cauquenes, siendo la navigation in the Beagle Channel una forma ideal para el avistaje de aves en Ushuaia.
3. Llega el momento de descubrir la Isla de los Lobos
Vamos a conocer la icónica Isla de los Lobos, otro de los puntos más conocidos del Canal Beagle para avistar marine fauna, ya que este es el hogar de colonias de lobos marinos de uno y dos pelos. Desde la embarcación vas a poder verlos de cerca sobre las rocas, moviéndose, jugando, descansando e incluso entrando y saliendo del agua. Sin dudas, uno de los momentos más entretenidos de toda la excursión.

Llega uno de los momentos más esperado de la Navegación Pingüinera: llegar al famoso Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse, one of puntos más reconocidos del Canal Beagle y muchas veces mal llamado “Faro del Fin del Mundo”. Es ese lugar que todos tienen en mente antes de viajar a Ushuaia y que vas a estar viendo en primera persona.
Our capitán se va a acercar lo suficiente para que puedas apreciarlo con claridad y llevarte la foto imperdible con el faro de fondo: esa foto que va a representar tu paso por Ushuaia, la que viajeros de todo el mundo buscan y que marca el haber llegado al Fin del Mundo.
5. Navegamos por el Canal Beagle rumbo a Isla Martillo
Dejamos atrás el Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse y nos vamos rumbo a Martillo Island. Vas a poder divisar la Estancia Remolino and Puerto Remolino, donde se encuentran los restos del Monte Sarmiento, un vapor de pasajeros y carga que naufragó en 1912 y que hoy sigue siendo una de las imágenes más conocidas de esta parte del Beagle Channel.
Más adelante aparece Almanza Port, the pueblo de pesca artesanal más austral de nuestra Argentina. Y frente a Puerto Almanza, del otro lado del Beagle Channel in the Isla Navarino, se encuentra Puerto Williams, perteneciente a nuestros hermanos chilenos. Vas a poder observar con claridad lo próximos que estan Argentina and Chile en esta zona del Canal Beagle.
Y por último, la Gable Island, una de las islas más importantes del Canal Beagle, nos antecede a la pingüinera de Isla Martillo. Forma parte de una zona muy ligada a los antiguos pueblos nativos de la región: los Yámana.
6. Llega la hora de avistar pingüinos: llegada a Isla Martillo
Vas a vivir el momento más esperado de la navegación pingüinera: llegar a la Martillo Island, donde se encuentra la colonia de pingüinos magallánicos y papúa que vienen cada año para su etapa de reproducción.
Desde la cubierta del catamarán vas a poder observarlos muy de cerca en la costa y en el water, en plena actividad dentro de la colonia: vas a ver cómo se mueven entre los nidos, cómo entran y salen del agua y cómo interactúan entre ellos. Vas a llevarte las fotos mas tiernas de la navegación pingüinera y, quizás con algo de suerte, también puedas ver alguna a pair of King penguins.
7. Navegamos de regreso a Ushuaia
Después de ver a los pingüinos en Isla Martillo, es hora de regresar a Ushuaia. Volvemos navegando por el Beagle Channel, pero ahora con otra perspectiva después de haber tenido la experiencia de ver a los famosos pingüinos de Ushuaia.
Vas a seguir disfrutando el paisaje desde el agua, mirar con más calma todo y sacar las últimas fotos antes de volver al Ushuaia Tourist Port booths, donde vamos a desembarcar cerrando así esta experiencia.

The excursion starts at the Ushuaia Tourist Port, located right in the city center, a very accessible and easy-to-find place. When you confirm your booking, we will clearly indicate the exact meeting point. Please note that this excursion does not include transfer, so we recommend that you arrive at the port on your own at least 30 minutes in advance, so you can board calmly and fully enjoy the experience.

During the Pinguinera navigation, no disembarkment takes place, as the entire experience is comfortably enjoyed from the catamaran, ensuring minimal impact on the penguin colonies and allowing you to observe them very closely from the deck.

Absolutely! The navigation is very calm, safe and accessible for everyone. On board, you will find heated and protected spaces, as well as outdoor areas where you can enjoy the views and take photos.
Yes, on the catamaran you will have a small onboard cafeteria to enjoy during the navigation. This service is optional, has an additional cost, and you can pay for it directly on the boat.
No, this excursion is available only during the season when penguins arrive at the Beagle Channel, from early October to approximately the end of March (spring-summer).
If you plan your visit outside of these months, we recommend the Beagle Channel Navigation, which is available throughout the year.
During the navigation, you will be able to mainly observe Magellanic penguins, also Gentoo penguins, and with some luck, some specimens of the famous King penguin that sometimes visits the island.
